We are proud of the quality of the products we serve. Every morning, the local family-run pasticerria bakes excellent cornetti (sweet croissants stuffed with marmalade, cream or pistachio cream) specially for our guests. They are, along with the cappuccino, a typical Italian breakfast.
Especially for lovers of dry flavors, our neighbor Silvia bakes excellent focaccia every day. Also bread is delivered from a local bakery. These pastries perfectly match wonderful Tuscan cheeses (e.g. pecorino matured in a grotto or in hay) or cold cuts (prosciutto crudo, salame toscano, mortadella, etc.).
We try to ensure that yoghurts and milk also come from local cows. We also care for people with lactose intolerance by serving lactose-free yoghurts and plant-based drinks. The perfect complement to breakfast are local vegetables and fruits, sun-dried tomatoes or olives in olive oil.
We serve our breakfast outdoors. The covered terrace offers views of the surrounding hills. For early risers, an added reward is the opportunity to watch the sun travel over the nearby wooded hills.
